Please note, this course is being taught at the 4th Floor Workspace in the Midtown Five building located at 125 NE 32nd St. Miami, FL 33137.

Advanced Fashion Design + Illustration is an advanced course. Students must have taken our Fashion Design + Illustration Basics course before or have experience in illustration. If your student is interested in taking the advanced course and has not taken the basics course with us, please send us an e-mail ( Classes@katepankoke.com ) requesting a portfolio review and attach 5-10 images of their design/illustration work for enrollment approval before registering.

This course is perfect for students who are thinking of applying to a design school that requires a portfolio interview or for those who just want to learn more about fashion in general.

WHAT THE COURSE INCLUDES

Students will be given a set of 4 fine tip markers, a palate of 24 opaque watercolors (gouache), metallic gel pens, and an ultra fine tip pen for detail work. At the end of their course, students will also be given a bound and printed copy of their sketches and inspiration board along with the digital files.

Advanced Fashion Design + Illustration Syllabus:  This course is for the student’s own personal development. It focuses on women’s fashion design. This course covers advanced Fashion Design & Illustration techniques.

In-class sketching and demonstrations, advanced painting and coloration techniques, Croqui (fashion figure) development, drawing faces, final assignment: One complete collection (9-10 designs), inspiration page, color palate, title page

SCHEDULING:
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in these intervals:
12:00pm-2:00pm
2:00pm-4:00pm
4:00pm-6:00pm
6:00pm-8:00pm
There are limited spots available per time slot. This course is a total of 8 lessons.
